I ran the last 10 miles with Brittney and pulled her hard through the last 3 miles breaking the wind and pacing her. She went from 3rd place to First in her age group in the last mile. Last mile I know was a 7:40 at least.

That is awesome!  Nice Job, Brit!  Ron and I got back down to the lakes just after she had finished.  How'd her friend do?

Congrats to everyone else that ran today!  I know some had great days and others not so great days, but congrats to all!

Brittneys friend Emily Smith was 5th in same age group(0-19)Female and ran with us almost to 7 miles. Then she stopped for a potty break and a stretch and did not get the time lost back. She ran 1:50:46. Emily & Brittney are teamates and Co-captians on the Delano Girls Cross Country team.

I saw Katy, Deena and JoJo out there in the 1/2.  Todd did the 5k with Molly and Val was doing the 5k with the family as well.
I'm not sure they recorded times for the 5k.
